Ahmad

Ahmad (d.1843) was the only child of the Báb and Khadíjih Bagum. Khadíjih Bagum had a very difficult birth and it almost killed her. She gave birth to a still-born boy and the mother of the Báb ,Fátimih Bagum, was frustrated at the fact the Báb did not save his life. Subsequently, he was buried unter a tree in Bíbí-Dukhtarán.

In the first báb of the fifth vahíd of the Persian Bayán, the Báb asks for a befitting structure to be built over the resting-place of Ahmad for the faithful to worship God.
