Mullá Muhammad Sálih Baraghání

Mulla Muhammad Salih Baraghani was the father of Táhirih, the great Bábí heroine and early figurine of women's emancipation.[1][2] He was an Usuli mujtahid in Qazvin, Iran remembered for his interpretations of the Qur'án, his eulogies of the tragedies of Karbilá, his zeal for the execution of punishments, and active opposition to the consumption of wine.[1]
