South Korea

South Korea is a country in East Asia, comprising the southern portion of the Korean peninsula. The first Bahá'í to visit South Korea was Agnes Alexander, who travelled to Korea in 1921 and spoke at a public meeting in Seoul on September 1 of that year. The National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of Korea, covering both South and North Korea, was first elected in 1964 at a National Convention attended by Hand of the Cause Rahmatu'lláh Muhájir.
